It took Meech just six starts to notch her first win after returning to racing last month at Warracknabeal, after taking a year off for maternity leave.
The race saw apprentice jockey Carleen Hefel taken to hospital following a nasty fall onboard Pres De Toi .
The Victorian Jockeys Association later reported that Hefel was conscious and moving all limbs afterwards, but was complaining about pain in her jaw.
She was cleared of serious injury according to Racing.com on Monday.
