The Horsham Rural City Council is seeking two community members to join a reference group to develop the plan.
"We are looking for community representatives who live in the Sunnyside area and who represent diverse community interests and backgrounds," Mayor Robyn Gulline said.
"The community representatives must be willing to constructively participate in discussions to reach outcomes that benefit the broader community," she said.
"We especially would like to hear from you if you are new to the area or are between the ages of 15 and 49," she said.
According to the council, the "landscape plan will identify opportunities to increase community activity within the park" and is part of the council's Open Space Strategy, which "encourages the development of public spaces... and opportunities for people to gather and be connected".

The representatives will join a group of representatives from surrounding organizations such as Homers Cricket Club, Homers Tennis Club, Sunnyside Bowling Club, Horsham Primary School, Holy Trinity Lutheran College and Kalkee Football Netball Club.
Members of those existing groups cannot participate as community representative.
The CRG will "work with Council to create a shared vision for the Park", and members will be required to attend a series of fortnightly meetings.
According to the council, the project is expected to be completed by the end of October.
Cr Gulline said the council was aware of other Sunnyside Park user groups not part of the aforementioned list of represented groups.
"These groups will be separately engaged early on in the process to make sure we capture their ideas," she said.
The application window closes at 5pm on Friday, June 25.
