In his first game back from injury, Hobbs tallied 34 disposals and two goals, with Rebels coach David Loader telling The Courier it was good to get some game time into the former Horsham Demon.
"He really hunted the opposition, he just plays with such great tempo, he's a really good player," he said.
"Great to have one under his belt now."

Impressively Hobbs racked up nine tackles as well.
Breuer was also dominant with a game-high 35 touches, a goal and 12 tackles to his name.
Loader was impressed with Breuer, who moved into the midfield after playing much of the season's opening rounds as a defender.
"He was nice and solid again ... it's a great effort because he played on Wednesday night as well (in the BAS Grand Final)," he said.
The win sees the Rebels head into the bye two games clear on top of the ladder.
