Horsham Rural City Council youth services planning and engagement officer Luisa Barnett said the "rebirth" of the Station was extremely exciting for both young people and the rest of the community.
"It's so exciting. Everyone was saying how good it was to be back, socially connecting, because they haven't - as a big group - for about sixteen months now, so they're excited to have a space to connect," Ms Barnett said.
"These events provide social connection for our region's youth who have had less gatherings to attend over the past 16 months. It's so wonderful to have young people enjoying events again.

"It's exciting for me as a worker, just to see joy and laughter and people connecting. It's really important one, for mental health but also for getting out and connecting with the community."
Ms Barnett said the design your own hoodie workshop was the brainchild of local teenagers.
"The Youth Council actually came up with the idea of the hoodie event. They wanted to learn new design skills and see how printing equipment works," she said.
Shivansh Bhutani, a member of Horsham's Youth Council, said events like this positively impacted young people.
"It's really good to get Horsham youth together. There's really cool opportunities to try out. I never really thought about graphic design, but after trying it, it seems really cool," Shivansh said.
Shivansh said he would love to see the Station run a variety of events in the future to cater for as many interests as possible.
"It's free, and new opportunities open up for a lot of newcomers to come and try things," he said.
Ms Barnett said the Station was always on the lookout for new and exciting events to host.
"We're always looking for grants and funding, to get events and programs up and going. We try to partner with other organisations that service youth to come in and facilitate things," she said.
"The Station is a public space, so we're always encouraging people who can volunteer in a youth space, to approach us or if they've got an idea of what they want to run or facilitate, let us know."
