Ladder-leaders Laharum will host second-placed Harrow-Balmoral, as both squads hunt the top spot on the HDFNL A Grade ladder.
So far in the 2021 season Laharum have been peerless, sitting on top of the ladder with a perfect 8-0 record along with a mighty percentage of 295.29.
Harrow-Balmoral are also building an impressive 2021 premiership campaign, having lost just one game themselves so far, going down to Noradjuha-Quantong by one goal in round six.
But after a bye in round seven and accounting for Edenhope-Apsley in round eight by 42 goals, the Roos are primed to challenge the best team in the competition.
READ MORE:
A key part of the match-up will be the fascinating battle between Laharum's rock-solid defence and the Roos' red-hot attack.
For the Roos, Lucy King and Kirby Knight have been in great form and they will be hoping to carry that into their match-up against the league's best defence.
While Rebecca McIntyre and Emalee Iredell have been working together seamlessly so far in 2021, including their round seven match-up against Rupanyup where they conceded just 25 goals.
In another round nine match-up to watch, Kalkee and Natimuk United will clash with both sides chasing a spot in the top six.
Kalkee will be looking to bounce back after falling to the Swifts in round eight, while Natimuk Untied will be hoping to cause an upset and keep their finals hopes alive.
On the football field Kalkee and Natimuk United will also clash in a contest with plenty on the line.
OTHER NEWS:
A strong month of football has brought Natimuk United into finals contention, with just percentage now separating them from a top six spot.
An upset win over Kalkee would do wonders for their finals push, while a loss would place pressure on their final six weeks of the season.
In the other round nine match-ups, some sides placed lower on the ladder will get the chance to test themselves against some of the league's best.
Kaniva Leeor United will have a big challenge as they take on Rupanyup, while Taylors Lake will have an equally tough assignment against Noradjuha Quantong.
Pimpinio will also return home for the first time since round six, as they host Jeparit Rainbow.
The Storm are coming off a dominant 58-point win over Natimuk United in round eight, meaning Pimpinio will have their backs against the wall as they look to score their second win of the season.
