The tournament was last held in Horsham in 2019 and is one of a number of Masters Championships held throughout regional Victoria and Melbourne.
Male competitors must be over 35 to qualify while females must be over 30.
The news has been greeted with great interest according to Vic Masters Squash Association president Lou Morsch who said they have already had ninety competitor registrations for the event.
"The entrants numbers are really high," Morsch said.

"We do have a great rapport with the town there.
"We (also) have a strong connection with Horsham because a number of our competitors come from Horsham."
According to tournament director Darren O'Neill the competition is set to attract people from places all over Victoria including Mildura, Melbourne, Donald, Benalla and Shepparton. Interstate competitors from Tasmania and NSW have also registered, however it is likely that the New South Welshman will not be able to compete due to border concerns.
While the tournament brings a great sporting spectacle to the region, it also provides a boost for the local Horsham economy during a time of need.
As well as paying for local accommodation, a lot of the competitors will go out for dinner while here in Horsham according to O'Neill.
"We have a dinner (Saturday night) as well, we're going to Sylvania Park, so we've got about 90 for dinner there," he said.
OTHER NEWS:
"That's a good influx of cash for Sylvania Park."
O'Neill was also full of praise for the Squash Club and their work to update their facilities.
"They've got the floors redone, they've got a grant to get all the lighting back to LED lighting which is nice and better on their pocket," he said.
"They're a great club, very supportive and a great bunch of people who love their squash club."
Entries for the event close on Thursday July 8 and can be made on the Victorian Masters Squash Association site. For any queries tournament director Darren O'Neill can be contacted on 0418 362 909 or tournaments@vmsasquash.com.au.
