The Eagles cling to fourth spot after narrow losses to the Giants and Stawell, however if they can muster up an upset against the second-placed Demons it will give them a much-needed boost heading into the back end of the season.
The Demons on the other hand, have won their last five matches and a win would ensure the gap between them and the unbeaten Southern Mallee Giants in first position, doesn't get out of hand.
Demons' coach Tiff Hier said her side was looking forward to a rematch with Warrack, after the Eagles defeated the Demons by just three-points in their round three clash.
MORE NEWS:
"It should be a good match," Hier said.
According to Heir the Eagles have two players in particular the Demons will have to be wary of if they are to come away with the four points after Saturday.
"You have to shutdown the Kosi girls (Sarah Spicer and Emma Koschitzke)," Hier said.
"Their movement throughout the midcourt is very slick and we'll have to try and shut them down somehow."
The Eagles are a professional outfit and if they are to pull off a victory they will need their defence to be switched on against Demons' star Emma Buwalda, who is coming off 52 goals in round 12.
Heir was full of praise for Buwalda and her dominant form.
"I don't think she's even hit her straps yet," Hier said.
"She's got more to come, there's no doubt about that."
The other headline match of the round features the unbeaten Southern Mallee Giants and the Stawell Warriors at Beulah.
Nothing more needs to be said about ladder-leading Giants who had a 21-point win over Minyip-Murtoa in round 12. It will take something special for the Warriors to stage an upset, but it isn't out of the realms of possibility.
The Warriors will be on a high after their one point win over Warrack in round 12 and will need defender Lisa Fleming to keep up her strong form if they are to be in with a chance.
Dimboola will travel to Alexandra Oval to play Ararat who have had consecutive losses since their 20 upset of Stawell in round 10.
The Roos meanwhile are coming off a big win against Nhill in round 12 and a victory over the seventh-placed Rats would ensure they hold onto third spot for at least another week.
Last but not least the sixth-placed Horsham Saints will take on ninth-placed Nhill.
OTHER NEWS:
A win is a must for the Saints if they are to stay in finals contention.
In the football, third-placed Stawell's clash with the second-placed Giants should be a great contest.
The Warriors had a big win over Warrack on the weekend and a win would see them snatch first place off Minyip-Murtoa (bye) for at least a week.
Southern Mallee in comparison, had a 45-point loss to the Burras in round 12, but will take a lot from the match against the premiership favourites.
The Giants amazingly enough led by two points at three-quarter time of that game and if they can improve their consistency over a full game they will prove a tough challenge for the Warriors.
Dimboola's clash with Ararat should prove a good spectacle.
The Roos have dropped to fifth in recent weeks, but got their season back on track with a big win over Nhill on the weekend after seeing some players return.
The Roos have the wood over the Rats from their last clash, however the Rats will be aided by a home ground advantage.
A win over the Horsham Saints for Nhill looks like a big ask, with the Tigers still looking to notch their first win of the season.
The Saints are one of the form teams of the competition after a slow start to the season and now find themselves in fourth spot after winning their last four games.
The Horsham Demons match against Warrack Eagles looks to be a good opportunity for the Demons to move closer to finals contention.
They sit sixth now and a win for Warrack looks a big ask.
