Under the plan, a significant section of the school's main building will be demolished to make way for future classrooms, outdoor learning spaces, and a sports and recreation area.
The planned 677.65 square metre school building will be set back 30m from the school's entrance on Mackay Street, with the space to be covered with shade structures for an outdoor learning space.
The proposed building will contain a new entry foyer, four classrooms, a central learning hub, toilets, flexible learning areas, art and science rooms, stores, a principal office, a general office and a first aid area.

Nhill Lutheran principal said the school was now waiting to hear whether it was successful in its funding application for the project.
"Nhill Lutheran School has a masterplan that has been completed for the purposes of securing funding that may become available, and to hopefully lead to a new building," he said.
"As part of the development of the masterplan, we engaged with Hindmarsh Shire Council to ensure the scope of the project was compliant.
"The commencement of the building project is dependent on whether or not we are successful in attaining funding, and at this stage we are waiting to hear if that is the case."
