Friend along with three of her Rebels' teammates - Chloe Leonard,Tahlia Meier, and Nyakoat Dojiok - were invited to the Victorian AFLW draft combine that was meant to take place on the weekend.
The former Horsham Saint has strong hopes for this year's draft after putting on strong performances for Vic Country in the under-19 national championships and playing a key role in the Rebels' finals run.
The draft combine would have seen players undergo tests such as vertical jump, agility run, 20m sprint and 2km time trial to offer recruiters a good gauge on this year's talent pool.
