IN OTHER NEWS:
Gateway BEET's programs manager, Jane Hatcher, said this support means providing essential services to the community.
"It means more for the community than the organisation," she said.
"It allows us to have access to this office to deliver services.
"It's really important to the community to have access to a wide range of local and state government services.
"Given the regional and isolated location of Hopetoun, it's vital the community have access to these services."
Gateway BEET is funded by different sources and has two staff working three days a week.
Ms Hatcher said they see around 300 visitors a month.
"At least a dozen people a day come in," she said.
The partnership with the Yarriambiack Shire Council "is a huge benefit to us so we can deliver these services," Ms Hatcher said.
"We've been in a long standing partnership with council since Gateway BEET started in the late 90s," she said.
Gateway BEET remained open during the lockdown with reduced hours to continue to deliver these services.
"We stayed open so the community could continue to access these services," Ms Hatcher said.
