In the past six months, two big events involved residents helping raise over $800 for the Cancer Council for the Biggest Morning Tea and holding a Pyjama Day where staff and residents wore their favourite pyjamas to help raise money for the Pyjama Foundation and children in foster care.
Other highlights have included a very popular Mothers Day High Tea, ice cream socials, World Chocolate Day and a Wheel of Fortune game show to name but a few.
Earlier in July Sunnyside hosted the Sunnyside Olympics with a full program of events and teams all vying for a medal to help their wing to come out the overall winners!
Residents also took part in small group programs like gardening, cooking, craft and cards.
