Wimmera representative sides in the under 15 and under 17 categories qualified for the championships after being victorious at the Northern Association Championships in June.
The under 13s Wimmera side impressed before going down by just two points in the semi-final to Central Murray.
Linley Wardle, coach of the Wimmera under 15 side, said the team was looking on the bright side after a disrupted interleague season.
"They've certainly come away with a win, a positive out of all of it. They actually qualified, they won at Bendigo after being runners up in the previous tournament (Golden City in May)," she said.
"It was a great effort. They've taken a real positive out of that.
"Certainly there's an an air of disappointment, just like everybody. It's nice to have a crack at these bigger tournaments.

"But there's always next year, and if the girls keep doing what they're doing, they've always got the under-17s to try out for next year.
"There's always more opportunities for the girls to try out."
The association championships were to set conclude with 50 teams across five divisions competing across a finals day on Sunday August 1 at the State Netball Centre.
However, due to the statewide lockdown the event was cancelled, after Victoria's July lockdown forced the postponement of qualifying events.
According to Netball Victoria, the association championships provide more than 180 Victorian associations and leagues the opportunities for titles and talent identification.

Netball Victoria's CEO Rosie King said that the state titles provides opportunities for development of many connected to Netball Victoria's programs across the state.
Young netballers will still have the chance to compete at the Victorian State Titles in October.
Between October 1-3, teams from Netball Victoria's 19 regions will play across five divisions, including all-abilities, in a round robin style event, with the top teams crowned state champions.
