Both teams are fresh off big wins in round 11; the Roos with a 71-point win over the Swifts and the Storm a 42-point win over second-placed Rupanyup.
The reigning premiers (Roos) took a while to get going in 2021 but are now starting to hit their strides at the right time of the season and haven't lost since round six.
The Storm is a worthy opponent and is in a purple patch of their own, having not lost since round five.
MORE NEWS:
Kaniva-Leeor versus Natimuk United looms as an interesting contest as well.
After last round's win over Pimpinio, the Rams leapfrogged the Swifts into the sixth.
A win would move them closer to cementing a finals' berth.
The Cougars on the other hand are on a two-match winning streak and are slowly making their way up the ladder and now sit eighth.
The Swifts' match against Pimpinio is a good chance for the Baggies to get their finals plans back on track.
The Tigers have had a tough year and will be up against it at home.
Kalkee versus Laharum and Noradjuha-Quantong versus Edenhope-Apsley both shape up as one-sided affairs, however, it is a game of football after all.
The Kees will be looking to bounce back from last week's narrow loss to the Bombers, while the Bombers are unbeaten which doesn't look like changing against the 11th-placed Saints.
Taylors Lake will be hard-pressed trying to spring an upset against Rupanyup, in the final game.
As it was in the football, Harrow-Balmoral's match with Jeparit-Rainbow looks to be the game of the round for A Grade over on the netball courts.
The Roos sit in third, while the Storm sits comfortably in fifth and would be looking to crack the top four.
A win for the Storm would cement their spot in the finals.
If Kaniva can defeat the lower-ranked Natimuk, the Cougars will have almost guaranteed themselves a top-four finish.
The Rams in seventh-spot are just outside the six on percentage and an upset against the Cougars would be invaluable for their finals' chances.
The Swifts currently hold that sixth spot and must win their clash with 11th-placed Pimpinio to put breathing room between them and the Rams.
It would be surprising if Laharum's clash with Kalkee was anything other than a win to the Demons.
Although the Kees have been competitive in a lot of their games, the unbeaten Laharum have looked invincible this season.
Similarly, the second-placed Noradjuha-Quantong should be too good for the ninth-placed Edenhope-Apsley.
