The north wing refurbishment project started during the past school holidays in June, and is part of a $7 million infrastructure project being undertaken across the whole school.

The refurbishment will see the inclusion of an all-abilities bathroom, a purpose built collaborative workspace and an employee replenishment lounge.

St Brigid's College principal Gerard Raven said the new facilities presented new opportunities for the school.

"The new bathroom facilities now ensure the college complies with the latest Occupational Health and Safety principles and the employee refurbishment ensures we retain and attract the best teachers in the region which will further improve the learning outcomes of our students," he said.

"St Brigid's is the little school that could - small school, great opportunities. There has been many changes to St Brigid's this year and while 'Change' can be scary, what is even scarier is allowing fear to stop us from growing, evolving and progressing."

The next project for the school will begin after the refurbishment is completed, which will see the re-landscaping of the rear courtyard.
