All seven are registered nurses who originally trained in their country of origin before completing a conversion course and moving to Australia.
Clinical Services Allocation Officer Dianne Schmidt said the Wimmera Health Care Group would look at another intake of nurses needing Visa sponsorship in October, to help with an ongoing shortage of nursing workforce.
Wimmera Health Care Group director of Clinical Services Maree Woodhouse welcomed the new nurses.
"We warmly welcome them to our nursing team and look forward to their contribution in supporting us to provide safe quality care to our community," Ms Woodhouse said.
Most of the nurses have already worked at other Australian health services or aged care facilities.
