The field day will run on Wednesday, September 8 at Watchupga and for the first time, the event will be across three sites.
There will be a southern and northern site at Watchchupga and a third site at Curyo.
BCG's Senior Manager of Research James Murray said making the decision to run the event over three sites was obvious.
"We have some pertinent research being undertaken at Watchupga with each site chosen to ensure our research is rigorously tested over different spoil types, paddock histories, weed burdens and farming systems. When growers come to field days they expect to be able to visually see different treatments etc and at this year's BCG Main Field Day, they won't be disappointed," he said.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"There are chemistry trials at the south site including BCG's herbicide matrix which will draw considerable interest. Also at the south site are fodder and forage trials including our multispecies cover crops, pasture trials as well as vetch and radish."
For the Main Field Day sites, the northern site, also at Watchupga, attendees will be able to visually compare new varieties in the wheat and barley National Variety Trials as well as hear the latest NVT results.
Safflower, intercropping and canola establishment have also been selected as key trials to discuss with growers at the northern site as well as a frost time-of-sowing and grazing trial which will showcase interesting visual results.
At the third site is the N bank trial at Curyo which has drawn national interest due to its ground breaking research into nitrogen applications and profitability.

There will also be machinery and product demonstrations and health professionals from the National Centre for Farmer Health.
BCG is also ensuring key research is accessible to all famers.
BCG chief executive Fiona Best said while the mode of communication may change, the organisation was committed to ensuring growers don't miss out.
"Farmers' information requirements do not change due to COVID-19. It is vital they still have access to the most up-date, relevant research to be able to make informed decisions on farm," she said.
"This time of year is usually our busiest for events and communicating with growers. While some of our events may be cancelled due to current restrictions, we are becoming adept at working with the situation as in unfolds and changing communication channels as required.
"Whether we host virtual field days, zoom meetings or produce podcasts we are determined to communicate our research in a safe and effective manner."
BCG's Main Field Day starts at 9am with breakfast available from 8.15am at BCG's southern trial site at 3593 Wilkur-Watchupga Road, Watchupga.
This is a COVIDSafe event.
Registration is essential at bcg.org.au/events/bcg-main-field-day or contact BCG office on 5492 2787.
