In August, the team tested 1642 people, beating July's total of 1496.
July saw a spike in testing numbers after a COVID-19 exposure site in Nhill was announced.
This comes as the Horsham testing clinic saw an influx of interstate truck drivers visiting the site after the South Australian government changed its border restrictions.
Under the new travel directions, Victorian essential travellers had to produce a negative test result within 72 hours before crossing into South Australia.
The Wimmera Health Care Group provided a pop-up tent testing site nearby the Read Street testing clinic to test the truck drivers separately.

A COVID-19 testing site has been established at the Nhill trailer exchange to take the pressure off other Wimmera testing sites.
The Nhill testing site was a collaborative effort between West Wimmera Health Care Group and Ballarat Health Services.
A Wimmera Health Care Group spokesperson congratulated the testing team and the community for the effort.
"Our COVID testing team did a brilliant job to keep the asymptomatic truck drivers separated from symptomatic community members and they were appreciative of the understanding from all," the spokesperson said.
Truck drivers can be tested at the Nhill trailer exchange site any day between noon and midnight.
