The street furniture project was delivered in partnership between Hindmarsh Shire Council and the Jeparit Town Committee.
In most circumstances, the new seats will replace old seating, but new locations have also been chosen.
Hindmarsh Shire Council mayor Ron Ismay thanked the Jeparit Town Committee for their work on the street furniture project.

"I would like to thank the Jeparit Town Committee for their support in identifying the style of the seat and selecting the locations where the new seats are to be installed," he said.
"In accordance with appropriate disability access compliance parameters and Australian standards, the new seating will be positioned on the kerbside of footpaths to enable easier and safer access for all users.
"This is the same process that has been undertaken in other towns where new street furniture has been installed."
The Jeparit Town Committee has requested for some of the existing seats to be re-used and relocated to other areas of the town, such as the Wimmera Mallee Pioneer Museum and the Jeparit Cemetery.
