Their season highlight no doubt came in round 16 when they defeated the previously unbeaten Southern Mallee Giants by a solitary point.
In regards to their third-placed finish, Roos coach Ant Toet said the Roos were "stoked".

Initially, Toet wasn't coaching the side, however, after round one, she took up the role after the previous coach had to prioritise work commitments. Toet said because of this the side started the season on the back foot.
"We still had to play a bit of catch up there I think and get together and get on the same page," Toet said.
The Roos' ability to match it with the best in 2021, with such a youthful side will no doubt hold them in good stead for the future.
"The girls are extremely young. Our average age is 19 and our eldest player is 27," Toet said.
"We've got four or five of those girls that played in the 17s premiership in 2019, that have already got that closeness and bond."
The Roos' 2021 season proved that Dimboola is a real threat to the other sides, with Toet saying it is now all about increasing her side's "self-belief", something which was a focus for the year.
"Dimmy hasn't been up there in the mains in the netball. When they come up against these big teams, half the game's won up in your mind," she said.
If the Roos can keep their young core together who knows what their future holds
"Going ahead it will be awesome if we can keep them together," Toet said.
"We always have the issue of girls going away to uni or the older ones settling down, or having a baby, or having a season off.
"They are quite young so fingers crossed. "
