For John Delahunty's charges, bar a one-point round three loss to the Southern Mallee Giants, everything they touched turned to gold.
Other than their sole loss, the closest any team came to defeating the Burras was Stawell's 36-point loss to them in round 15. From their 12 games, they had an incredible nine wins by fifty or more points.

Despite the "challenging" nature of the season Delahunty was pleased with his side's performances and was "rapt" that the season was able to go ahead.
"I'm really glad we've got to this position where we've only lost one game to date," Delahunty said.
"It's a credit to the whole playing group and the club itself as well. We've controlled the things we can control and just got on with it and the playing group have managed to stay really fit the whole way through.
"We've probably had as many injuries as anyone this year and we've had to test the depth of the playing list, but no one ever complained about it and we just got on with the game."
With injuries an issue for the side, Delahunty pointed to the Burras' "versatility" as being a real strength.
"We've got a number of players that can play a number of different positions," he said.
"With players being thrown around week-to-week, they've really just taken that as an opportunity with no fuss."
Delahunty lauded the impact of his new recruits in a side stacked full of talent on every line.
"From higher-named recruits to some of the guys who have come just as more reserve players, they've all really embraced the year," he said.
"Probably our three best individual players have been recruits this year in Nick Petering, Kieran Delahunty and Luke Fisher. Top four would be Lachie Johns as well who came back to his farm."
Alongside Stawell's Cody Driscoll, Burras' spearhead Brayden Ison finished the year on 37 goals to top off a stellar campaign.
"He's had a really good individual season and he's taken on an assistant coaching role this year. He's really thrived in that position and he's always been a great on-field leader," Delahunty said.
