Horsham Amcal Pharmacist Carlie Streeter said the pharmacy was booked out for the first week of Moderna appointments.

"I think it is great that there is another option now. We are still continuing to encourage AstraZeneca for people over the age of 18. Whenever someone over the age of 18 gets AstraZeneca it is great, because it frees up a Pfizer of Moderna dose for anyone under 18, so everyone can get vaccinated quicker."
Dimboola Pharmacy will start receiving Moderna doses in October, and has begun taking expressions of interest from the community.
Anyone aged 12 to 59 can call the Dimboola pharmacy and put their name down, and pharmacists will contact them when the vaccine is available.
