HORSHAM council has approved the community grant allocations for the Natimuk Special Community Grants 2021-2022.

After the sale of council land in Natimuk, there is a total of $21,500 available for community grants.
Out of the 14 applications, 12 organisations were allocated grant funds totalling $22,314. The additional $815 will be taken from the 2021-2022 Community Grants contingency.
Some organisations include the Natimuk Tennis Club, Natimuk United Football Netball Club, Arapiles Art and Craft Centre and Natimuk Brass Band.
IN OTHER NEWS:
The largest amount of $5000 went to the Arapiles Historical Society for a pictorial history of Natimuk project.
Councillor Penny Flynn said she was pleased the assessment panel aimed to provide grants to as many community groups as possible.
"Natimuk does a great amount of work to keep their community going," she said.
