There had been speculation Tucker would return to his home state amid interest from other clubs.

Tucker had a difficult 2021, bouncing between halfback and midfield as the Dockers settled for 11th.
The former Ballarat Clarendon College student joined the Dockers with pick 27 in the 2015 draft and has gone on to play 94 games.
Of current Dockers, only David Mundy, Nat Fyfe, Michael Walters and Matt Taberner have made more appearances for the club.
Fremantle general manager of football believed a new deal was closed to being confirmed.
"My understanding is we're just going through the last minor points and bits and pieces. It's very close to being a done deal," he told AFL Trade Radio.
"He's up to 90-odd games and while he didn't have he season he wanted to have, we think with his experience and flexibility in his game, he'll be a strong part of our best 22 for many years to come."
