The competition is set to get going in November, in line with the State Government's roadmap and according to HCA president Josh Mahoney, has six umpires at this stage.

"We're always looking for more umpires, numbers have probably declined over the years," Mahoney said.
"There's probably ten senior games every week. So there's potentially enough games there for 20 umpires."
Typically the Association will attempt to fill A Grade games with one umpire each, while B and C Grade generally umpire themselves.
Not only do accredited umpires get to watch the game from an ideal position, they also get reimbursed for their troubles.
"The higher accreditation you get, the more money you get as well," Mahoney said.
"If you like cricket but your body can't handle playing or anything like that and you just want to be involved it's a good way to do that.
"Especially if you're umpiring the A Grade, you can see some pretty good cricket."
While majority of the area's umpires are ex-cricketers keen to stay involved in the sport, there are also opportunities for younger people who want to get involved.
"We've got a young bloke this year who has just moved to to town who's on the Cricket Victoria Umpiring Pathway," Mahoney said.
"There are options for younger people who like cricket. You might not have the skills but you have an understanding of the game. You can push your way into higher levels of cricket.
"We have rep games here and there's opportunities to umpire those and as you move up you can get yourself down into Premier Cricket and things like that."
Mahoney added that if enough people show interest in becoming accredited the association could run a group accreditation course if need be.
