The former Horsham Demon is viewed as one of the best prospects in the 2021 draft class and has been tipped as a top five pick by draft experts.
Hobbs said he had started speaking with head coaches as part of the pre-draft process.

"(I've spoken to) every club but one," he told 1116 SEN.
"(The process has) been pretty good. Lately they've started to chuck the head coaches in (the conversations) as well which has been a bit nerve-wrecking.
"But, again, they've got good advice for you at this time of the year and they've probably been through it themselves as well."
A tough-at-it inside midfielder, the Greater Western Victoria Rebels captain was sidelined for a good chunk of the year with an ankle injury.
His six NAB League games saw him average 30 touches and six tackles.
Hobbs also collected 25 touches, 11 tackles and seven clearances playing for Vic Country earlier this year.
The Rebel said he wants to try and emulate Port Adelaide workhorse Travis Boak.
"Just the number of little extras he did when no one was watching when I was watching really stood out to me," Hobbs said.
"He's definitely a player I want to play like, for sure."
