Horsham Sharks captain Tulley Norton said she was excited for the resumption of competition.
"I'm looking forward to seeing friends from other clubs I haven't seen for a while," she said.
Angus Norton said he was looking forward to getting some personal bests in the pool this season, while Jorja Clode said she was happy to be in the pool again.
Sharks president Deidre Harrington said the club had been focused on maintaining a level of enthusiasm throughout the pandemic.

"During the off season our coaching team certainly focused on trying to maintain the focus and keeping swimmers engaged for training," she said.
"In preparation for them getting back into the pool, we've had multiple swimmers attending when they're able to, within density limits."
The enthusiasm is there, but due to Victoria's current COVID-19 restrictions sessions are dictated by bookings.
"They may have someone in the lane opposite them, but they're missing the coach's directing them," Harrington said.
"To help, our coaches have actually put training sessions up on a large white board and all the swimmers have been signing that sign."

"We've got some that can come in the morning and others going in the afternoon after school.
"Our coaching's team really positive, even despite COVID-19 and the kids are remaining positive and they're rocking up and doing some sessions."
Nonetheless, from Monday November 1, the Sharks will resume its regular training schedule; three mornings and two nights a week.
Despite being an offseason, the Sharks weren't quiet during the colder months; coaching team Mark Urquhart, Des Bolton and Stephen Jones have been making plans for the season.
MORE NEWS:
"We have three people currently undertaking the Swimming Australia competitive swim coach training as well, so that's really good," Harrington said.
"We also received some COVID-19 grants and that has allowed us to replace a number of marquees that were damaged.
"We're hoping to apply for further grants in the aim of replacing our current starting blocks."
Harrington added that adult swimmers were also welcome to sign up.
"We encourage adults swimmers to continue their love of swimming, they can participate at training without any added pressure to compete at swim meets," she said.
The Sharks' season kicks off on December 4 at Warracknabeal, before a meet on December 12 at Horsham Aquatic Centre, which Harrington said the club hopes will be a qualifying event.
