A new Golf Australia directive, released on Saturday October 30, means all players must be double-vaccinated to be able to play.
Horsham Golf Club president Gerard Bardell said the club would follow the directive.
"People already need to be double vaxxed to enter the clubhouse, as per hospitality recommendations and now to be out there on the course to play the game you need to be double vaxxed," he said.
Golf Australia's directive, and Victorian regulations, mean that the golf club can host a maximum of 103 people inside the clubhouse.

"We've seen restrictions evolve over time from not being able to rake bunkers, remove the flags or face masks and not being able to play competition to now being able to get back to 'normal' with competition golf," he said.
"We've guided by industry bodies over this period, and they themselves have been in close consultation with the state government."
Although Bardell said the club would align with Golf Australia's directive, the club asked members to be respectful in its email to members.
"We understand that this may create some issues for some Members, and ask you to be respectful, kind and considerate to each other and our staff," the statement read.
Tennis clubs across the state are also gearing up for the start of competition, with different clubs
Central Wimmera Tennis Association will follow the Victorian government guidelines in permitting players to play whilst unvaccinated.
Similar rules surrounded vaccinated and unvaccinated players are in place for Victoria's cricket associations.
MORE NEWS:
Central Wimmera Tennis Association president Jeremy Quast said the association knew how to operate under COVID-19 restrictions.
"The COVID-19 restrictions that are in place are very similar to what we went through last year," he said.
"Everyone's still checking in with QR codes and social distancing but you no longer have to wear a mask outside.
"There's going to be no afternoon tea at the clubhouse, the clubhouse will be open but its highly recommended not to go in there unless you need to use the bathrooms.
"They're all things we did last year, we'll just do them again this year."
Quast said that Tennis Victoria had been regularly updating clubs with new guidelines based around the Victorian government's own restrictions.
OTHER NEWS:
"Every club has been supplied a COVIDSafe plan, so everyone's very familiar with it; everyone's ready to go," he said.
Excitement about the season getting underway has been palpable, according to Quast.
"We've all been waiting for it," he said.
"It was good to have a break after the football-netball season; a bit too long of a break but it was good to have a few weekends off to chill and relax."
"But now a lot of people are keen to get stuck into it."
Meanwhile at the golf club, Bardell said the golf club's members had enjoyed the return of competition golf on October 30.
"We've been able to play for the last little while, but we hadn't been able to play competition," he said.
"While it's been great to be out there, our members had been craving the competition."
Tennis and cricket competitions will return Saturday November 6.
