A new special development building will be built on the former primary school site and will feature classrooms, a gallery and art space, and sensory and home craft areas.
The second phase will also see the construction of a manual activities building for the senior school, with facilities for horticulture, wood working, motor mechanics and metal fabrication.
This comes after around $20 million was allocated to the project, following a hard-fought campaign from Warracknabeal residents to see the final stage of the precinct completed.
The project is expected to be constructed by April 2023.
