On Thursday, volunteers from the Rotary Club held a food drive at the Christian Emergency Food Centre, using two car spots on Firebrace Street to allow COVID-safe food donations.
Horsham Rotary Club president Neil King said the group was happy with the day - and surprised with the great reception the event had received.
"Nearly $700 in grocery items were delivered to the food centre, as well as many cash donations," he said.

"They were surprised with the amount of stuff that came in. They didn't think there would be that many people.
"We kept walking in donations and they had to get more volunteers in to do stock take. We're really happy with the response."
Mr King said due to the success of the event, the Rotary Club was considering expanding the food drive to include donations from corporations.
Another food drive event will be hosted on Friday, November 19, at the Christian Emergency Food Centre between 10am and 4pm.
