The pair were elected as school captains for 2022 after a selection process which saw them deliver speeches to the whole student body.
Harper said being elected as school captain was an unforgettable moment, and looked forward to finishing his secondary education on a high note.
"Finding out won't be a moment I forget any time soon," he said.

"We were there in the staff room with the other candidate when the principal told us, and then they put it over the speaker to let the rest of the school know. Hearing that was when we realised it was for real.
"Right now I think I am in the best place I have been with my studies, I want to get better, revise and then head into the year 12 exams."
Following a tough past 18 months for the students, Tehya said it was a "proud moment" to be elected as school captain.
"It was good, it happened over the span of two weeks and at the last minute of the day we found out we were school captains, it was really exciting," she said.
"I hope to keep up my studies and just do what I am doing now, because I feel like I am really on top of things and I want to continue that into my last year of school."

She said she hoped to serve as an example of what was possible for other indigenous students in the school.
"I think it is important to show that it is possible for indigenous students to represent a school," he said.
"It doesn't matter where you are from, you can go wherever you want to go. It is important that we can showcase that to other indigenous students."
Harper said after year 12 he hopes to study environmental science and follow in the footsteps of his father at Parks Victoria.
Tehya said she has aspirations to study at a university in Melbourne, but was undecided on what course she wanted to take.
