Councillor Rob Gersch said a co-funding contribution from the council was not required for the funding.
"I think this is great. We are the real winner out of this because council doesn't have to put any money to get up a project," he said.
"I believe this is a win-win. The toilets and showers in the visitors rooms are appalling and I congratulate the club for putting this forward."
Applications for the Country Football Netball program close on December 1, 2021, with notifications commencing in March 2022.
If successful, work can begin in September 2022, and be completed by September 2023.
