The Salvos Christmas appeal has kicked off in the Wimmera, with the group looking for toy donations from across the community.
Horsham Kmart has also joined in the appeal with its Wishing Tree initiative - in which shoppers can leave presents under a Christmas tree in-store to go to those less fortunate.
Salvation Army lieutenant Horsham Chris Sutton said the group was seeking toys for children of all ages.
"From babies right through. We get gifts for primary school aged children a lot which is great, but sometimes the older kids get forgotten," he said.

"It is a bit hard to buy for teenagers but something for them would be appreciated too."
Anyone interested in donating toys to the appeal can contact the Savlos at their office on 12 Kalkee Road.
Gifts can also be donated to the Uniting Wimmera office at 185 Baillie Street.
Toys will be distributed to families from December 9 through to December 17.
Mr Sutton said the Salvos would also accept cash donations, if people were unsure of what toys to buy.
"Thank you to the community for their generosity over previous years, and with the appeal this year. It is greatly appreciated," he said.
"I have been busy speaking to families, getting the details and booking in time. If people feel that they need the support, feel free to contact us at the office.
"People should donate, because there are families who do have it tough, and COVID hasn't helped."
