In addition, members for the Centre Participation were involved with a new disability strategy,
"We attended the launch event of Australia's disability strategy 2021-2031 this morning, it was amazing," Ms Koenig Fisher said.
"The strategy is largely based around inclusion, engagement and responsiveness to people with a disability, and driving this into mainstream services and systems for the cohort. Engagement, informing and involving the whole community to create a more inclusive society, which is so exciting."
Ms Koenig Fisher said the Centre and Laneway are looking ahead to another great year in 2022.
"Next year we will continue working on our amazing pathway program, with the outcome goal of some fantastic social interaction, continuing building on their life skills, alongside some of our learners achieving their dream of securing paid employment which will all be amazing," she said.
"We will continue our upskilling programs and continue learning for life lessons in all our learning areas at Centre for Participation."
Ms Koenig Fisher said Disability Week and continued work and advocacy for inclusion is vital for everyone.
"It's so important because everyone deserves to have a fulfilling life with purpose and all of our programs can help strive towards this," she said.
