"The Wimmera boys all contributed to the win in different ways."
Batting first, the Waves were in trouble early at 2-33 when Weidemann strode to the crease.
Fresh off his match-winning 48 the round before, the Rup/Minyip star looked in good touch before being dismissed for 10 with the score then at 5-46.
That brought Millar to the crease at number seven for the Waves.
The Homers' young gun combined with Will Colla for a much-needed 30-run partnership before the latter was dismissed for 20.
Miller continued to play his shots before he was eventually removed for a composed 21 off 55 balls.
That would finish as his side's top score, as the Suns snared the final two wickets to have the Waves all out for a modest 107.
Xavier Wishart did the majority of the damage for the Suns taking 4-13.
In response, the suns found themselves in a predicament early, sitting at 3-22.
Nagorcka and Weidemann were responsible for two of those wickets but Suns' batters Will O'Connor and Moloney knuckled down for a timely 26-run partnership.

When O'Connor was removed for 5 by Hunter Connolly that opened the door for a steady flow of wickets.
The Suns were 9-102, with just under five overs left, when Nagorcka stepped up to trap the Suns' final batter LBW, ensuring a tight victory for the Waves.
Weidemann was superb with the ball in hand finishing with 4-15 off his ten overs, while Nagorcka impressed with 2-10.
Hopper said the win put the Waves in a great position heading into the rest of the season.
We have now won the first two games and are looking forward to the carnival in Hamilton next week," Hopper said.
In Hamilton the Waves will have a jam-packed schedule, playing five-straight games between December 13 to 16.
