Purchase was selected in the inaugural Under 12s Victoria Blue girl's team earlier in the year, but due to COVID-19, only got to pull on the Big V in late November.
A Victoria white team was also picked, who became the Blue's opponent in a gala day at Sandringham's Trevor Barker Oval.

Initially, the Victorian side would play against other state teams; however, border restrictions meant that wasn't possible.
Wearing the number 19, Purchase enjoyed her time playing at the high level, according to her mum Tahnee.
"She really, really loved it," Tahnee said.
"She usually plays with all the boys at Nhill, so It was good to play with a group of girls.
"She made some really good friends that she keeps in contact with and learned a lot of things about football."
Tahnee said Purchase "did really well" against the White team.
"She made a few tackles in the third and fourth quarter and took a few marks," she said.
Purchase also got the chance to meet a few of the Bulldogs AFLW players, which she appreciated.
Tahnee admitted her daughter has grown up with football and is looking at joining the Horsham Demons next year in Western Victoria Female Football League.

"We've got to look into that," Tahnee said.
"She watches her brother. He's 17, and he's been training with the Rebels last year, and he's just started up again.
"He's always got a footy in his hand. So she grew up with him and she's taken on what he does."
