"It should be a good day."
As of Tuesday, plenty of tickets were still available, with Samsonenko hopeful that more tickets would be purchased in the lead-up to the meeting.
"I think people will buy at the gates now," she said.
"We got more people than we expected last year, so hopefully, it will be the same.
"We've got functions and private bookings on and we've got kids' attractions. It will be a good family day."
According to Samsonenko, the Stawell Racing Club track was "in good order" three days out from the event.
However, there was some slight concern for rain.
As of Wednesday morning, there was a 60 per cent chance of showers forecast for Stawell on Friday.
"We've jut got to hope that it doesn't rain too much," she said.
