The top four sides at the end of the regular season qualify for the semi-finals in a system where first hosts fourth and second hosts third.
READ MORE:
The Hornets women currently sit fourth with home matches against Portland (third) on Saturday and the Surfcoast (fifth) on Sunday.
If they lose both of those games the side will finish fourth, while if they win both they would finish third.
If they defeat Portland they will likely finish third.
It shapes as a good contest between two sides who faced off in round five.
In that match in Portland, the Coasters just got home by five points against a Hornets side that was without some of its key players.
This time however the Hornets have the backing of a vocal home crowd at the Nest, which will be aiming to help them square the ledger.
In their round six clash the Hornets beat the Chargers by 54-points, which will give them confidence heading into Sunday's rematch.
Saturday night will also feature a special moment when men's Hornets legend Tim Wade is presented with his 200th game plaque.
MORE NEWS:
Saturday's Portland clash acts as a double-header at the Horsham Basketball Stadium, with the women's game starting at 6 pm followed by the men's game at 8 pm.
On Sunday the women's home clash with the Chargers is scheduled to start at midday.
