South Australia has tightened borders with Victoria following 10 new locally acquire coronavirus cases recorded in the 24 hours to midnight Thursday.

As a result of the new cases, a Victorian lockdown will be in effect until at least 11.59pm on Tuesday under the same conditions as the previous lockdown in May.
From 12:01am on July 16, all travellers who have been in Victoria in the past 14 days are prohibited from entering South Australia.
Essential travellers, returning South Australians and people genuinely relocating or escaping domestic violence can enter the state, but are subject to level 4 restrictions.

This means those entering South Australia must self-quarantine for 14 days, have a COVID-19 test on days one, five and 13, and wear a face mask in public at any time they come into contact with the public for the 14 days they are self-quarantining.
The 70km border bubble with South Australia will continue.
The border closure led to a 3km long stoppage at the Victoria - South Australian border, as people rushed to return to the state before Victoria's lockdown restrictions were implemented.
Police checkpoints have returned to spots across the Victorian - South Australian border to enforce border restrictions.
Any resident living in the 70km cross border bubble will be unrestricted in South Australia, provided they have not left the 70km bubble in the 14 days prior to entering the state.
