The Family Fun Fair will run from 5.30pm Friday, June 18 to Sunday, June 20.
Horsham Ag Society venue manager Andrea Cross said when they got the call from the Geelong business, they jumped at the opportunity for an outside event.
"We got a call on Friday from the Melbourne Family Fun Fair and they travel across Australia with their rides, they're trying to get back to business," she said.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"They were in Ballarat and wanted to come to Horsham, so I said 'sure, why not?'"
The event is classified at a tier 3 event, so it will be capped to a degree. People will need to check-in via QR codes and sanitise their hands before and after going on rides.
Ms Cross said there is most likely going to be an announcement regarding to COVID restrictions closer to the event.
Ms Cross said a part of the strategic plan is to attract outside events.
"We lost so many events last year, this is our opportunity to climb back," she said.
"In between lockdowns, who know when the next one is going to be? We have to take what we can when we can and this presented a fabulous opportunity."
But it's not just about the event, Ms Cross said, it's also about the Horsham community as seen by the response for the Foodies Night Market in May.
"Given we have experienced that incredible community support, it was in our best interest to welcome this business," she said.
Entry is free for this event.
