Rocks tend to be a favourite according to co-creator of The Bottle Collector, Christy Flaws, who has used those observations to create the show.
"It's taking those beautiful and sometimes inconvenient collections kids like to play with and making them magical," she said.
"There is a particular kind of noticing that kids have of precious little objects and the show celebrates that."
IN OTHER NEWS:
Clunes-based Christy Flaws and Luke O'Conner are Asking for Trouble, and have brought a series of family shows to Horsham and now they are bringing The Bottle Collector.
Ms Flaws said their shows bring out the play in a lot of children and parents.
"It allows parents to see those collections in a new light," she said.
The Bottle Collector involves two characters - one with their valuable case of precious bottles, and another whose collections at first seem a lot like rubbish.
The show is highly visual and physical, with both performers having circus and physical theatre experience.
This performance is perfectly suited for families, children in particular 3-10 year old's who like to explore and collect.
"We use language sparingly, but the majority of the time we are telling the story with our bodies," Ms Flaws said.

"You can tell a story by moving your body, contorting your face or standing on someone's shoulders."
Ms Flaws said they can't wait to see some familiar faces at the show.
The Bottle Collector will be held at Horsham Town Hall Tuesday, June 29.
The show starts at 10.30am. Tickets are $5 per child with no cost to guardians.
