The $522,500 in funding will go towards the replacement of evaporative cooling and hydronic heating systems with more efficient, individual, room temperature-controlled units.
WHCG Director of Residential Services Sarah Kleinitz said the funding announcement was welcomed by the Kurrajong Lodge team.
"Everyone at Kurrajong Lodge had been relying on the original evaporative air conditioning system which had become very much outdated," Ms Kleinitz said.

"We can now replace that with a new spit system that will provide refrigerated air conditioning with individual climate control for each room.
"It will certainly add to the level of comfort for both residents and team members."
West Wimmera's Rupanyup District Nursing Home was also successful in getting funding.
The money granted for the Rupanyup home will go towards installing a kitchen and community lounge, upgrade the nurse call system, fire safety, disability access, ventilation and lighting.
The funds are a part of the $10 million Rural Residential Aged Care Facilities Renewal Program.
Member for Western Victoria, Jaala Pulford said the program is about caring for the older generation while supporting employment.
"We're ensuring older people across regional Victoria will have the quality facilities and services they need to age well," she said.
"This funding will create jobs right here in Horsham while also delivering modern public sector residential aged care facilities."
