IN OTHER NEWS:
Kannamaroo Festival has a special place in committee chair, Di Bell's, heart.
"It was awesome," she said, looking back at the three day festival.
"There was so much reconnection in the community, so much community vibe.
"Everyone just so pleased to be out."
The festival was held for the first time ever in Maydale Reserve so it could be a COVID-19 safe event.
"It's been great to do it in a really safe environment where we're all spread out everywhere and not a everything together," Ms Bell said.
"And by the river."
Ms Bell said she was so proud of all the committee workers and volunteers and their ability to pivot.
"It's so important for us to understand and others who run events that we can move on," she said.
"Just because we always ran a festival in the main street doesn't mean that's the only festival we can do.
"We can modify, we can change."
Ms Bell said it was about thinking outside the square.
"We didn't want have to cancel, we wanted to be able to modify," she said.
Like many, Ms Bell said the fireworks were her favourite part of the festival.
"Matt from Northern Fireworks is an amazing operator," she said.
"He and I have been working together for a few months on this.
"We wanted this to be something spectacular that could make people feel like it was a change, a new beginning."
