The extension adds a new sporting stadium, sports science arena, and additional classrooms to the school's existing VCE and VCAL facilities.
Funding for the second stage of the senior school building was provided by the Victorian government, who allocated $2 million to the project.

The opening of the extension capped off the college's two-part senior school centre project, which began in 2016.
The college was given the green light to expand into Year 12 in 2016, receiving $1.67 million towards the senior school expansion project in 2017 through a capital grants program.
Principal Daniel Weller said the completion of the second half of the project was a crucial goal for the school.
"With the completion of our Senior Centre, we now have a pre-tertiary and workplace educational facility where we can nurture collaborative, critical and creative learning for our senior students and prepare them for life beyond school," he said.
"We have come to the end of a program of building works, starting in 2014, that completes our journey of becoming a Foundation to Year 12 college.
"It has been a long-held vision to provide future-focused, Christian education to students of the Wimmera and, over 40 years since the school was first opened and with our third cohort of Year 12s graduating this year, we are blessed that we are now able to realise this vision."
