Against the state's best, the Wimmera team of Eli Bailey, Emma Streeter, Harry Allan and Adele Joseph held their own.
The side punched well above their weight to finish a respectable 10th from 15 teams and had a good win against Mornington.

Wimmera Regional Tennis coordinator Sandra Casey said the side "had a great time".
"I think they all won at least a set but there were some great individual performances," Casey said.
"It certainly gives them confidence moving forward that they can match it with the city kids. It was really good."
Casey who wasn't at the event was told that the players were "walking around with smiles on their faces and enjoying the experience and didn't feel pressured".
"That's great because they shouldn't," she said.
"They just really valued the experience and took a lot from it."
The tournament was a long time coming for the players, who were originally scheduled to compete at an event as a group of Under 10s in April 2020.
Fortunately, there was an equivalent Under 12 tournament and all players were good enough to be selected.
There was however a minor issue with the team uniform.

"One of the things that we award the players with is a Wimmera hat," Casey said.
"I've tried to make it a special thing. Last year even though the kids didn't go I still gave them the hat.
"When they went to go this year I asked if everyone could find their hats.
"The two boys were like, 'Oh yea could we grab another one they're quite worn out'.
"Harry Allan apparently whenever he plays tennis he's got to wear his hat."
