That partnership was brought to an end when captain Matt Combe dismissed Huff for 23, signalling a mini-collapse for Hamilton.
The side lost 2-0 from there, with Staude (24) and Simon Close (0) back in the sheds thanks to the bowling of Combe and Chaminda Gamage.
Tobi Cook and Anthony Close knuckled down to put on a 56-run stand, and when Gamage castled Cook for 33, Hamilton looked on track for a big total at 4-112.
Tyler Puls dismissed Close for 46 with the score at 7-185, and not long after, Hamilton was all out for a formidable total of 191.
Combe was the best of the Horsham bowlers finishing with 4-39 off his 9.5 overs.
In response, Horsham got off to a solid start at 3-67, with Paddy Mills (24) and Nathan Alexander (19) getting starts.
Following on from his bowling efforts, Combe and Mitch Dahlenburg stood up at number four and five to guide the home side to victory.
