The former Horsham Saint will pull on the boots for the side which effectively acts as the Adelaide Crows reserves team and will feature a mix of AFL and non-AFL listed players.
Despite his AFL dream being put on hold for the time being, Breuer is thrilled with the opportunity in front of him.

"Obviously it was a bit disappointing not getting picked up, but I was lucky enough the Crows had reached out to me during the draft period and said we'd love for you to come and join our SANFL program, which was really awesome of them," Breuer told the Wimmera Mail-Times.
Breuer is currently in Adelaide training with his new side.
"I came down and last week and I've been having a bit of a run around with them which has been good," he said.
"I've been able to watch the main AFL squad train and we've been lucky enough to do some running sessions on the weekends with them which has been awesome.
"Seeing your idols like your Rory Sloanes and Tex Walkers, running with them and having a chat and what not.
"It's an awesome experience to have them so close and aspire to be doing what they're doing."
The 18-year-old has been impressed by his new club's vulture and the way he was "welcomed with open arms" when he arrived.
"It's an awesome culture at Adelaide, with the players and coaches all real close and on the same page," he said.
"The AFL playing squad is pretty young at the moment as well as the SANFL program, which obviously fits me a little bit more.
"And they're a bunch of nice blokes in a really good environment - (it's)very professional but very relaxed."
With Crows training set to begin in mid-January, Breuer is keeping things simple in terms of his goals for the season.
"I'd obviously like to be able to play a game," he said.
"I haven't really set out any goals at the minute just (focused on) taking the opportunity with both hands and just trying to make the most of what they've given to me...
"(I've been told) that during the year that I might be able to train with the AFL squad, that'll probably be one of my goals to crack into their training sessions."
MORE NEWS:
Aside from football, Breuer intends to keep himself busy by attending university in SA. He has been looking at enrolling in a degree in the area of human movement and nutrition at the University of South Australia.
In the meantime, he is heading back to Horsham on Saturday "to hopefully play" with the Horsham Hornets men's basketball side that night. The Hornets host Terang Tornadoes and have one win and two losses from their three Country Basketball League clashes.
Breuer top-scored in the side's round one loss to Colac with 20-points.
"Over the Christmas break (I'll) train with the Hornets," he said.
"I might even consider travelling back for the weekends just to fill in and bench-warm for them."
