The 24-hour Elite Contender gym has replaced the Warracknabeal Leisure Centre's gym as the town's only dedicated facility.
Owner Damien Smith operates two other Elite Contender gyms in Stawell and Nhill, and said he appreciated the warm reception Warracknabeal residents gave his newest business venture.
"Everyone seems very welcoming of it. Very supportive, it has been quite an exciting thing to offer that service. The community has taken it in very well," he said.

Mr Smith had started planning to open a gym in Warracknabeal in the past year, but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
"It has been a long road. A stressful time. This has been in the works for over a year and has been pushed back with the number of lockdowns we have had," he said.
"It has made it difficult financially. It's quite a relief to finally get the doors open."
Elite Contender Warracknabeal operates out of Warracknabeal Leisure Centre on 31 Anderson Street.
