Seven Horsham based CFA Brigades will receive new equipment to the total value of nearly $125,000 under the Volunteer Emergency Services Equipment Program grant.
The equipment included central tyre inflation systems for Clear Lake and Natimuk Brigades; and laying crush rock for members parking at Dadswells Bridge Brigade.
Member for Western Victoria, Jaala Pulford was grateful to see such vital support for the crews.

District 17 Headquarters in Horsham will be able to provide 20 medium rigid drivers licences for local volunteers and Horsham CFA Brigade will undertake a minor kitchen renovation.
Jung CFA Brigade will get side by side operational equipment and Mitre CFA have been granted an ultra-light tanker.
Three CFA brigades in West Wimmera Shire were awarded over $130,000 under the grant.
Edenhop and Kaniva CFA Brigades will receive field command vehicles and Leeor CFA will get a central tyre inflation system.
Under the program, the Victorian Government matches every $1 paid by volunteer groups with a $2 co-contribution up to $150,000 per project.
The annual grants program gives volunteer emergency service groups the opportunity to apply for grants of up to $150,000 to purchase equipment including vehicles, trucks, tankers, watercraft and trailers, and for minor improvements including refurbishments and amenities, such as kitchens and change rooms.
Other operational equipment that can be funded includes chainsaws, generators, quick fill pumps and inflatable rescue boats and engines.
