One hundred meals a month have made their way from the club's kitchen to those in need, a fact that the Christian Emergency Food Centre's Bev Miatke is thrilled with.
Ms Miatke said she was over the moon when HSCC manager Glenn Carroll approached the Centre about donating meals.
"It was amazing, especially during the time when they were locked down and wouldn't have been making money; that just made it extra special," Ms Miatke said.

"They prepare the meals, they deliver them to us already fully frozen and ready to go just to hand out to our clients.
"We don't have to do anything, we just put them in the freezer and then hand them out."
Glenn Carroll said the donations were a natural extension of the club.
"It just fits so nicely with the purpose of the club, that we're here to support our local community," he said.
"I thought there were plenty of people in need, so what can we do?
"We certainly had the capacity to do it, a hundred meals a month... it's just the right thing to be doing for our local community."

Mr Carroll said the donations were also came about during COVID-19 lockdowns.
"We were looking for our staff to do as well, and it's always better to think of what you can do for your community, rather than what your community can do for you," she said.
"The meals are particularly helpful for those who are in temporary accommodation, or that may not have very many cooking facilities.
"This way they can actually get a made meal that's got meat and vegetables, maybe rice or pasta. Just a full meal; all they need to do is head it up in the microwave and they've got a good, nutritious meal ready to eat."
The donated meals aren't the only way the HSCC has helped out the CEFC, according to Ms Miatke.
"Some of our equipment here has also been provided by them in the past through community grants and things like that," she said.
Ms Miatke said she was very appreciative of the support from the HSCC.
